          • I was talking with one dude who did google translator to read everything(No I’m not joking)…
            He said that the authors style of writing improves and that it becomes easier to understand what he’s trying to say as it progresses further? Kind of like initially the author wasn’t sure how to write?

            • I did that for BTTH and other than the odd miss in the first 80 chapters or so it was unoticable and a good read ( I got tired of it after 1600 chapters straight so I came to read this as a break before tackling the last 50 or so chapters), however when I tried it for this at least the first 10 chapters were baisicaly so unreadable it was as though the story was made with those inbuilt speech to text editors from 2003 (they turned my dry speech on the history of clocks in switzerland into a king Kong vs Godzilla battle based in hong Kong) – I didn’t bother checking the later chapters.

            • crystalsquirrel, like Kibal implied, machine translations will not reflect an author’s style. (It’s like trying to discern the texture of the original tomato fruit/vegetable from drinking tomato juice.) What your acquaintance probably meant is that your brain will eventually adapt after reading hundreds of MTL-mangled chapters.

  10. If possible could I get some clarification about the Translation Progress/Release Schedule Google sheet. I was wondering if something else needs to be done to a chapter if it says both Translation and Editing are Done? If so could you add another column stating what that is and its status. If not do you just not post it since you’re busy with other things (work, school, etc.)?

  14. Would really appreciate it if you would update this post as often as possible with the new chapter links which have already been translated. It becomes a hassle to find specific chapters after theres been a few stuff already posted. And new people who come on this page would think Gravity only has translated till Ch. 19.   22. Loving this novel, great work on the translations! Couldn’t believe there are 1404 chapters in total. Wish i could read pinyin haha. It would be great if many more people would collaborate in translating in the near future to speed up the releases. I can see that there are many avid readers waiting for updates.

  28. Is the bonus chapters is still applied? Like you’ll do 1 chapter + 1 chapter because of donations. Does that mean that the 1 chapter days you did, did not apply for the bonus chapters?   39. I kinda of wish I have never found this novel. This novel is too addicting. I found that it is now necessary to have this site open in a tab and so I can refresh it every few minuets, just in case there is a new upload. Although I hate this, I it impossible stop.

  42. For the chapters, under Zhan Long, it shows only up to #40 on the home page. The only way I knew about 41 and 42 was by pressing the ‘next button.’ Can you add the links for chapters over 40 to the home page? Thanks!

    Also if you need editors, I edit stories for the United States Marine Corps. But I would not always be available, I am also stationed in Japan, so my time schedule would be basically opposite.

  57. he supposed to be a bodyguard in both worlds right? why is he soloing in vR? isnt he supposed to be beside the Girl even if he is low level? and playing is supposed to be work because he is a bodyguard IRL and IN VR. and the way it goes he is making his own guild and stuff unrelated to bodyguard stuff in game.

    • To me it sounded like he said “guard her in game” so that he could play the game as motivation to take the job since he didn’t really care about the money and since she can’t get hurt in the game.

    • An old unedited english summary written by Helllo, the one who translated chapters 1 to 10, can be found in the english ToC. You can read it by hovering your mouse cursor over the “[ summary ]” text on the top right. (Ideally, there should be one for French and Indonesian, too, but that’s up to those doing those translations.)

    PS: I read the machine translation since it readable compare to machine translation of japanese. It not that I complaining your progress of translation is slow, it just I very very like this story and couldn’t stop for a moment. So yeah, just a head up.
