Dou Qi – Kinda like internal Qi and is the primary power source in this novel
Dou Zi Qi – Same as Dou Qi but a different way of saying it
Dou Zi Li – Same as Dou Qi
The main reason there are different ways of saying Dou Qi is because of how awkward Dou Qi in combination with some words sound/author gets tired of saying Dou Qi all the time.
Differentiation in Dou Qi –
Duan Qi – Levels/stages of Qi before one becomes a Dou Zhe (9 Duan = chance to become Dou Zhe)
Stars – Levels/stages of Qi after one becomes a Dou Zhe (9 Stars = chance to advance to the next level)
Names of Dou Zhes –
Dou Zhe – First level where one can use their Dou Qi
Dou Shi – Second level – There’s some characteristic to them that I can’t remember
Da Dou Shi – Third level – Able to materialize Qi – Xiao Yan’s father is at this level
Dou Ling – Fourth level
Dou Wang – Fifth level –
Dou Huang –
Dou Zhon
Dou Sheng
Dou Di
Dou Qi Training Techniques / Dou Qi Fighting Techniques
- Huang
- Xuan
- Di
- Tian
There are four levels and within each level, there are 3 stages, High, Medium and Low.
EX: Huang Medium or Tian High

Thank you for this. Would you mind adding the Chinese characters and what they mean too? As an example, someone told me this Dou means to fight (I don’t know if this is true mind you.)

I’m not the right person to explain this but it’s sort of an respectful way to call an older male family member/acquaintance if I’m correct.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.

You might want to translate some words to English. Like Tian is Heaven is Di is Earth.
